Social Activities as of September 2020
SUNNYBRAE GOLF - Judy Spring is going to golf again at 9 am on Monday, September 21st and have lunch at about 11:30 at the Sunnybrae Golf Course, 1430 King Street, Prince Albert. We are limited in social opportunities, and the first golf outing was fun. Sunnybrae ensures that physical distancing regulations are in effect. They have a spacious patio where lunch is served, but we must be cautious in maintaining a physical distance when socializing. Washrooms are open, but masks must be worn in the Club house.
Stage 3 provincial/regional regulations allow people to play golf and to have meals on restaurant patios as long as the outdoor group does not exceed 100 with physical distancing in place. The patio accommodates about 36 people.
If you have a foursome, please contact Judy by email or phone with the names of your team members. If you are a single/double and interested in golfing, please contact her, and she will arrange the teams. Judy Spring - email@example.com or 905 447-4557.

MEDITATION & RELAXATION
These are stressful times. Even something as simple as going for groceries can often feel like a risky venture. So taking time for peace, solitude and relaxation may be the best prescription.Through the University of Virginia’s Contemplative Sciences Center, you can find a variety of scheduled virtual seminars and practices that are free and open to the public. These cover areas such as meditation, T’ai Chi, mindfulness, Qi Gong, and a wide
variety of types of yoga (including ones targeted at specific body ailments). Past webinars can also be viewed on the website, and the schedule for the ones coming up goes up through August 7th.

You are challenged to consider fellow PROBUS members who live alone or may be having trouble throughout this lengthy period of social distancing. This may be coping with day to day living or isolation. They may not wish to reach out for help. Give two a friendly call to brighten their
day. If you don’t have their contact information, email Judy at firstname.lastname@example.org and the information will be provided.
