Social Events between meetings can range from sporting events, live theatre, travel, visits to places of interest, to any other activity that the Social Committee wishes to organize. These are usually one time events, one per month generally, but you can participate in as many events as you wish!

Tuesday, October 20th, 2026 – Bountiful Lunch at Hope Church Join us once again following the general members meeting in the breakroom for the Bountiful Lunch featuring a new hot catered lunch and contributed goodies by our members. Girls Nite Out” event at the Regent Theatre, Oshawa is the all fem ale stand-up and improv comedy show. Girls Nite Out is a celebrated all-female comedy troupe that delivers a fast paced mix of stand-up and improvisation. The show celebrates women, friendship, and the hilarious realities if life. NEW – DECK THE HOLIDAY TABLE – MONDAY NOVEMBER 23rd-A November workshop on making a Festive Table Centrepiece or Christmas Wreath for your front door. Your choice. Marg Miller has kindly offered to host this and has offered her home as she has a huge work table/work space downstairs. This is open to a limited number of people. Cost of greenery supplies, bits and pieces, pizza, soft drink and dessert for lunch is $20.00. Members are asked to bring their own containers or hoops for door wreaths and not forgetting your imagination.
