Social Events
Social Events between meetings can range from sporting events, live theatre, travel, visits to places of interest, to any other activity that the Social Committee wishes to organize. These are usually one time events, one per month generally, but you can participate in as many events as you wish!
Lady Muskoka Cruise
On September 24, 30 members enjoyed cruising on the Lady Muskoka out of Bracebridge and lunch before the cruise. The weather was perfect and it was a lovely day.
Scavenger Hunt 2025
On Thursday, September 25, members had a fun time exploring the areas around Port Perry, looking clues and items in the Scavenger Hunt 2025. After the hunt, participants enjoyed a delicious pot-luck lunch. Prizes were awarded to the most successful sleuths and for the best costume.
Bountiful Lunch October 21, 2025
On Tuesday, October 21, Port Perry Probus members enjoyed a delicious bountiful lunch after our regular monthly meeting.

Sunday, November 16, 2025 - 2pm – Oshawa Generals vs Erie Otters - Oshawa Tribute Centre, 99 Athol Street, Oshawa. $40.00 - We are invited by Uxbridge Probus to join them for a fun afternoon of hockey and food . A group of seats in the Medallion Lounge has been reserved. Your tickets include pizza. Drinks are at your expense. You may register by emailing social.uxbridgeprobus@gmail.com. Tuesday, November 25, 2025 – Mirvish Production of Sound of Music at the Princess of Wales Theatre and early dinner (entre of your choice) at the Hot House Café - $213.00 – Luxury Bus Trip from Port Perry Walmart at 3 pm, followed by dinner then the show with Orchestra seats at 7:30 pm, returning home at approximately 11 pm. Bus has a limit of 47 passengers so sign up early. Final date to register and pay is Friday, October 10, 2025. Mary Morton may still be able to purchase additional tickets on request. Wednesday, December 10, 2025 - Festive Holiday Luncheon Buffet at Wooden Sticks Golf Club – 40 Elgin Park Drive, Uxbridge – 11:30 - 2 pm –join us for a sumptuous buffet - includes soup, three salads, beef, turkey, pasta, mashed potatoes, vegetables, a variety of desserts including fruit, and tea/coffee.
